Dwight Hale became a licensed sales associate and joined the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) in 1989. He received his broker's license in 1993 and is an active broker - listing, selling and managing real estate.

Mr. Hale has served on numerous SABOR committees including Property Management, REALTOR®/Builder, Multiple Listing Service (MLS), Professional Standards, Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Society Executive Council, Grievance and Forms, SARPAC, TREPAC and Government Affairs. He was the first Chairman for the REALTOR® Rally Task Force.

Mr. Hale received his Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation in 1990 and his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 1991. He has been an active member of the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) since 1989, and was the 2002 President of the Alamo Area CRS Subchapter.

Mr. Hale was the Chairman of the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR) Legislative Committee and Chairman of the TAR Member Benefits Committee. He also served as Chairman of the TAR Budget Committee, was a TREPAC Trustee for Region 13 and a President’s Circle and Hall of Fame contributor. Mr. Hale was the 2011 Chairman of TAR. He was named recipient for the 2007 Lifetime Distinguished Service Award, the 2005 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year Award and served as the 2004 Chairman of SABOR.An instructor since 1995, Dwight is certified to teach TREC Ethics and Legal Update, MCE and TAR University GRI courses.

He has served on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Multiple Listing Policy Committee, Public Policy Coordinating Committee (PPCC), Public Advocacy Advisory Group (PAAG), REALTOR® Party Coordinating Committee (RPCC) and as Chairman of REALTOR® Political Involvement Committee (RPIC). He was also a member of the 2010 NAR Leadership Academy class.

Born in Maine and raised on Eleuthera in the Bahamas, Mr. Hale graduated from High School in Orlando, FL. While attending the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL he met and then married Mary Groenewoud after graduation. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Southern California and a MBA from the University of North Dakota.

Since retiring from 21 years with the United States Air Force, Mr. Hale and his wife Mary, a retired educator, have lived in Northwest San Antonio. They enjoy relaxing at their Port Aransas condo.

Mr. Hale is a member and adult Sunday school teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church.
